Below are some links to some of the more exceptional online resources available to Authroware developers. This list is by no means extensive or exhaustive. Like most developers, I am always struggling to maintain links to useful sites and resources. If you have a favorite authoring or other development resource, please bring it to my attention and I will gladly add it to this site.

Danny Engelman. Co-founder of perhaps the most helpful, civil, and well-moderated online community there is. The AWARE List is an online community of over 600 Authorware developers of all skill levels. All developers are encouraged to join the community and participate. No questions or contributions are too simple or too tough, and I'll just about eat my hat if you don't get a helpful response right away.

Macromedia - Authorware Tutorial: Overview of Authorware 6.5 (web-based tutorial)

View Authorware content delivered via the web. Macromedia has developed this web-delivered tutorial to introduce users to Authorware 6.5. The application was developed in Authorware and compiled into an .aam file for delivery via the web. You may need to download and install the Authoware web player in order to view this demo. If so, you will be prompted to do so.

Many (if not most) of Gary's products are free for you to use, but his paid, registered products are well worth the modest investment. I had the pleasure of hearing Lynda speak to a Macromedia users group meeting at Macromedia's headquarters in San Francisco, and I can tell you that she really knows her stuff! The Tips, Downloads, and Web Color resources on her web site provide you with quick, easy-to-use and easy-to-apply information about optimizing the look and efficiency of your graphics. Many other resources are available on her web site, including CD ROMS, subscription online training, and live training events and workshops.
